Hey, what's that behind you?

um.............err.................i've been working hard I swear ......................um..................yea.....................its like april now......................and all I have is a few..........um................(gulp)...................demos.................

welcome to april 8, 2006. not exactly february, but then again, no one has probably read any of these blogs since then. and probably no one will read this one either, so for all intensive purposes this is my shallow half-hearted attempt at myspace redemption. who knew an online website for 'music, friends and dating' could extend itself to such a high calling?......................stop being so cynical dan...................

in the immortal words of michel gondry on the dvd of his director's label debut, 'I chose quantity over quality, because quality fades.' I'm sure that that zen and motorcycle maintanence guy might have something say about that, but perhaps gondry's approach is the only approach you can have with *dare i say it* art. or at least with your own perspective on your own creations. for to create is the role that an 'artist' *there it is again* must begin and end with. for quality is not for the 'artist' *gagging* to decide. only truth. truth to experience and perspective.

with that in mind i offer quantity. to sit on these songs any longer would not only be painfully uncomfortable, but would also work against the very thing i'm trying to accomplish. namely, to finish something.............so the plan is to move ahead from here. to continue to work and finagle these songs to completion. in the meantime i hope these will suffice for all you crazy masses of people constantly calling and stalking me on my way home. that means you stephen baldwin..............

more to come.......

*the picture next to 'bronx' was taken from the site www.banksy.co.uk and is the work of graffiti 'artist' *he hates that word too* 'banksy'. please go to his website and please come away changed.
